The high quality of our products and compliance with applicable environmental and production standards are a matter of course for us. Here you can find an overview of the international and national standards and regulations our products and our company comply with.
We introduce ourselves: Quality
Conformity
RoHS conformity (2011/65/EU), according to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
This Directive aims to restrict the use of the dangerous substances listed below:
- Lead
- Mercury
- Cadmium
- Hexavalent chromium (also called hexavalent chromium or Cr6+)
- PBB (polybrominated biphenyl)
- PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ether)
The maximum limit for all substances is 0.1% (= 1000 ppm) by weight. For cadmium, this limit is already 0.01% (= 100 ppm) by weight.
With regard to the restriction process, we note that the products we place on the market may contain substances restricted by the RoHS Regulation (Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances) and may have a concentration of more than 0.1% by weight.
In order to fulfill our obligation to provide information, we are in constant contact with our supply chain to determine whether the materials supplied to us contain any of the substances listed in the SVHC.
Amphenol-Air LB does not conduct independent RoHS analyses itself. The statements in this declaration are based on technical data from our supply chain, which we believe to be reliable and accurate. The information provided will be updated as new developments or additions become known.
Should Amphenol‐Air LB GmbH find materials from the RoHS list with a higher concentration than permitted by Directive 2011/65/EU, we will inform the affected customers.
REACH Declaration of Conformity EC Regulation 1907/2006
We comply with the provisions of the REACH Regulation, including the resulting obligations. The following activities demonstrate the status of implementation within our company:
We neither manufacture nor source chemicals in quantities exceeding 1 ton per year. Our products do not release any substances and are therefore not subject to the registration process. However, in accordance with the registration process, we ensure that our suppliers (and their subcontractors) have registered their substances subject to registration.
We continuously ensure that all safety data sheets used in our assembly at Saarlouis are up-to-date and available at all times. The various applications of the chemicals we use are exempt from the general registration requirement.
With regard to the restriction process, we note that the products we place on the market may contain substances included in the candidate list of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) and which, according to the REACH Directive, have a concentration of more than 0.1% by weight.
In order to fulfill our obligation to provide information, we are in constant contact with our supply chain to determine whether the materials supplied to us contain any of the substances listed in the SVHC.
We do not conduct independent REACH analyses ourselves. The statements in this declaration are based on technical data from our supply chain, which we believe to be reliable and accurate. The information provided will be updated as new developments or additions become known. Should we discover materials on the SVHC list with a higher concentration than permitted by REACH, we will notify the affected customers.
