Backshells form the pressure-tight seal of a connector and offer protection against electromagnetic interference, moisture, and dirt. When the shield is secured with a band, they also provide a strain relief.

The VG95319-1011 / BVG backshells are suitable for the following connectors: VG95319-1006, -1007, -1008, -1016 / MIL-DTL-38999 Series III / Amphenol TV/CTV

Temperature range for aluminum alloy cadmium, zinc-nickel, Zinc-tin and/or black anodized and marine bronze versions: from -55°C to +175°C
Temperature range for nickel-plated aluminum alloy and stainless steel versions: from -55°C to +260°C
