The lagging pilot contact (LMFB) is the last to switch on to activate power transmission and the first to switch off to disconnect it. This allows for plugging and unplugging without power.
Phase contacts carry the transmission of current.

VG96944 is based on the proven shells from MIL-DTL-38999 III or VG95319-1006, -1007, -1008 and 1016.

Powersafe
The Powersafe series has the same technical design as VG96944 and is the commercial equivalent, but in addition to the versions described in the standard, it offers an additional selection of designs, pole configurations and versions up to 200°C under the manufacturer's part marking.
The series is constantly being developed to meet new requirements and tailored to customer specifications.
