Raptor is the new high current and high voltage connector series for E-Flight, eVTOL and hybrid applications.

Based on the proven Rhino series and equipped with new TALON contacts (up to 200 °C), Raptor offers partial discharge-free performance at 2 kV AC (rms) at 30,000 ft.

Ideal for shielding and terminating HV cables in aviation. With IP68 sealing, anti-vibration locking, and excellent EMC performance, Raptor meets the requirements of modern aviation electrical systems.

Characteristics

  • Partial discharge-free performance
  • Operating voltage 2.0 KV AC (eff.) at 9,140 meters altitude
  • Protection class: IP68, IP2X finger protection according to BS EN 60529
  • Temperature range: -65°C to +200°C
  • For cables from AWG 4 to AWG 0000
  • Tri-Start threaded locking (500 mating cycles)
  • Contacts for crimping, as threaded bolt contact, as internal thread or bus bar
